To praise someone, simply type a command like /praise @john and then describe their contribution in your own words. Be specific and provide context.
We celebrate the diverse ways our community members contribute, emphasizing the quality and impact of each action. Our praise system is designed to recognize and reward those who go above and beyond in helping others, fostering positive experiences, and welcoming new members. We equally value contributions made online and offline, acknowledging that meaningful community building happens across all spheres of interaction. Quantification in the Mitosis ecosystem is the process of assigning numerical scores to praise statements based on their perceived impact and value to the Mitosis community.
Quantification transforms peer feedback into objective metrics that power Mitosis's community intelligence. Quantifiers are trusted Mitosis community members, initially comprising Admins, Moderators, and Senseis, who independently review and score praise statements. These quantifiers are randomly assigned praise statements to ensure unbiased evaluations. Each praise is scored by multiple quantifiers, with their ratings averaged for a final score.

Quantification: Scoring Guidelines

The Mitosis Praise system embraces a bottom-up approach to contribution evaluation. Quantifiers, initially comprising Admins, Moderators, and Senseis, are encouraged to use their judgment to assign scores based on the perceived impact of each praise. This approach aligns with Mitosis' core values of decentralization and community empowerment. Over time, this collective assessment will evolve into a more refined scoring system that accurately reflects the Mitosis ecosystem's values and priorities.

Reward Types Rewards in the Mitosis ecosystem can include:

• $MORSE tokens
• Special roles (e.g., OG, Royal Gem)
• Access to exclusive Mitosis events or merch
• Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) representing achievements.

Rewards will be distributed monthly based on Praise received and scores accumulated during that period.

Roles in the Praise System

1. Praise Givers: Initially, only Admins, Moderators, and Senseis will be allowed to give praise as we test the system. This will gradually expand to include Gurus and other miRoles (miArtist, miEvangelist, etc.) and eventually to all community members with the Mitosian role.
2. Praise Recipients: All community members are eligible to receive praise for their contributions.
3. Quantifiers: Designated members (initially Admins, Moderators, and Senseis) will evaluate the impact of each praise. To be eligible for rewards, Quantifiers must participate in a certain number of Quantifications per month (to be determined).

Potential Future Developments We're exploring additional reward mechanisms, including:

• Exclusive Mitosis NFTs: Unique digital collectibles awarded to top contributors.
• Game of MITO Integration: Earn in-game advantages based on your contributions.
• Special Access: Gain exclusive access to Mitosis ecosystem features and unique perks through earned reputation tokens.

Implementation Timeline

1. Initial Phase (Beta & Test period): Only Senseis, Mods, and Admin can give Praise.
2. Expansion Phase: Expanded to certain other roles.
3. Open Participation Phase: Adjustments and further expansion based on performance and community feedback from previous phases.

Each quantification period will last approximately one month. We will continuously evaluate and refine the system based on data and community input from each monthly cycle. This approach allows for more frequent adjustments and ensures the Praise system remains responsive to the evolving needs of the Mitosis ecosystem.
