Mitosis Litepaper: Network for Programmable Liquidity

The highlight of January has undoubtedly been the release of the initial Mitosis Litepaper, introducing Mitosis as a "Network for Programmable Liquidity." This foundational document outlines our vision for transforming DeFi liquidity into a programmable primitive where capital becomes fluid, movable, and combinable.

Key Litepaper Highlights:

• Vision & Mission: Making liquidity fluid and opening premium yields to everyone, not just big players
• EOL (Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity): Governance-driven pools where miAsset holders vote on protocols to fund for top-tier yields
• Matrix: Time-bound support for early-stage protocols where users provide liquidity to earn yields plus exclusive rewards (e.g., native tokens) while maintaining flexibility
• Community Governance: Commitment to transparent, community-driven decision-making for EOL votes, Matrix campaigns, and rewards

The litepaper represents a significant milestone in our journey, providing a clear roadmap for how Mitosis will change on-chain liquidity and yield sourcing. Mitosis University Launch

January marked the launch of Mitosis University, our comprehensive educational initiative designed to equip community members with in-depth knowledge about Mitosis, DeFi concepts, and blockchain technology. This significant development underscores our commitment to education and community empowerment.

Key Features of Mitosis University:

The initial response to Mitosis University has been exceptional, with hundreds of community members already participating in the closed beta periods. This initiative not only strengthens our existing community's understanding of the Mitosis ecosystem but also serves as an onboarding tool for newcomers interested in the Mitosis protocol.

Community Growth and Engagement

Mitosis Yapping Initiatives

January saw the launch of our Kaito Yapper Leaderboard campaign, uniting the community around getting Mitosis listed on the Yapper Leaderboard. The initiative included multiple reward tiers:

• The Yap God: Rewards for the first 200 voters and top 30 voters
• Yap Crew Battle: Community-led competition where crew leaders and members collaborate to earn MORSE rewards
• The Original Yappa: Special rewards for yappers from value-aligned protocols including Berachain, Eclipse, Initia, Mantle, Monad_xyz, and Story Protocol

The response from our community has been nothing short of extraordinary. While we initially faced challenges in gathering enough votes to secure a position on the leaderboard, our community rallied with unprecedented support. With great pleasure, Mitosis climbed to the #1 position on the Yapper Leaderboard with over 12.5 million votes!

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and passion of our community members. Their coordinated efforts through the crew battles and individual contributions have demonstrated the true strength of the Mitosis ecosystem.

Important Reward Information for Yappers:

• All MORSE rewards will be distributed in 3 equal rounds over 3 months
• Rewards must be claimed within 30 days of the announced claim date or they will be reclaimed

We introduced a new leadership position within our artistic community: the Core Art Contributor role. We're thrilled to announce that @Misery has been appointed as our first Core Art Contributor, tasked with:

• Organizing art campaigns and events
• Building connections with new artists & projects

miAsset-Based Role Updates

We've updated eligibility for miAsset-based roles to better recognize the contributions of our community:

• Expedition Explorer: Now available to holders of various miAssets including miweETH, miweETHs, miuniETH, miezETH, miuniBTC, and micmETH
• miAsset Tuna/Dolphin/Whale: Tiered roles based on miAsset holdings, with special considerations for miuniBTC

Morse x Tuzi Collaboration

January brought an exciting collaboration between Morse and Tuzi. Benefits for our community include:

• 300 whitelist spots for Tuzi NFT distributed via raffle to Morse NFT holders
