Matrix Launch: The First Step Toward Programmable Liquidity

The highlight of this period has undoubtedly been the launch of the Matrix Straddle vault, our first Matrix implementation. This initiative was specifically designed for existing Mitosis users—particularly miweETH holders—to access exclusive yield opportunities while continuing to earn MITO Points. It fundamentally transforms how our loyal liquidity providers can interact with premium yield sources while maintaining their position in the Mitosis ecosystem.

Matrix Theo Campaign Phases

Matrix launched with a phased approach designed to reward our most loyal community members:

• Phase 1 (March 13): Exclusive access for our most engaged community members
• Phase 2 (March 25): Expanded eligibility criteria, including:
  • Platinum Expedition Tier members
  • Morse NFT Holders & Game of MITO Participants
  • Expedition Epoch 1 or 2 depositors
  • Users with total combined miAssets of 2 or more
  • Community Contributors

Morse DAO: Emergence of Community Governance

March marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of the Morse ecosystem with two major governance developments: the launch of the Morse DAO Proposal System Beta and the community-approved MORSE token burn initiative.

Morse DAO Proposal System Beta

The beta launch introduces a structured governance framework allowing Morse holders to directly propose initiatives and utilize MORSE tokens for community-driven projects.

The Proposal Process:

1. Discussion & Ideation: Share and refine ideas in the community
2. Formal Submission: Post proposals in the #morse-forum Discord channel
3. Community Support: Gather enough Pepe reactions to qualify for review
4. Committee Review: Proposals evaluated for feasibility
5. Snapshot Vote: Approved proposals move to community voting on Snapshot
6. Implementation: Proposals with simple majority support receive funding

During this beta period, a total of 50 MORSE has been allocated for up to 10 proposals, establishing the foundation for future community-led initiatives.

MORSE Token Burn Implementation

Following overwhelming community support through a snapshot vote, the strategic MORSE token burn program began on March 26th.

Background & Rationale

As the Mitosis ecosystem continues to grow, we believe a well-structured token burn will benefit all MORSE holders by:

• Enhancing token value through controlled supply reduction
• Creating sustained community interest through a progressive burn schedule
• Demonstrating our commitment to long-term ecosystem health
• Building engagement through a transparent, community-approved process

This decision represents our commitment to maintaining a healthy token economy while ensuring community involvement in key governance decisions.

Key Burn Parameters:

• Total Burn Amount: 2,223 tokens (22.23% of total supply)
• Duration: 150-day period (began on Mar 26, 2025)
• Burn Pattern: Quadratic acceleration schedule

Voting Results:

• Total Votes: 958
• Yes: 607 votes (63.36%)
• No: 346 votes (36.12%)
• Abstain: 5 votes (0.52%)

Role Progression System Overhaul

To foster more genuine community interactions, we've revamped our role progression system with a simplified, holistic approach:

• Sensei-Led Evaluations: Moving away from purely quantitative metrics to qualitative assessment
• Streamlined Progression Paths: Clearer advancement criteria from Gakusei to Daigakusei to Sensei
• Activity Requirements: Ensuring roles reflect active community participation

To preserve the integrity of our community recognition system, we've made important changes to our Praise framework:

• Praise continues as a valuable way to show genuine appreciation
• Removed direct ties between Praise and automatic MORSE distributions
• Implemented more holistic evaluation approach for role progressions

These refinements ensure our community structure rewards authentic engagement rather than metric-focused behavior, creating a more meaningful experience for everyone.

Exclusive Community Initiatives

MORSE Genesis Telegram Group

We launched an exclusive Telegram group for our most dedicated MORSE holders, creating a focused space for collaboration with the core team.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Holding MORSE NFTs for 100+ days OR
• Owning 3+ MORSE NFTs

This initiative marks the beginning of more specialized community engagement opportunities, starting with our longest-standing supporters.

The Discord role will automatically be assigned to those who are eligible. Once you receive the role, open a ticket in our Discord and request to join the group chat.

Expedition Expansion: Bedrock uniBTC

Expanding our Expedition offerings, we launched Epoch 3 for Bedrock uniBTC, allowing users to deposit without limits and earn MITO Points.

AMA with Luke and the Team

Our recent AMA was a tremendous success with approximately 200 community members participating in real-time. The session covered:
