Mitosis Game Night Bangkok Devcon'24

Mitosis' first-ever Game Night proved to be an incredible success, bringing together over 150 community members for an unforgettable evening of gaming, new friendships and good food! It was the perfect wrap-up to Devcon'24, strengthening bonds between team members, Senseis, and the rest of our supportive local community.

The iconic Hard Rock Cafe Bangkok transformed into a gaming paradise for the night, with its signature neon-lit industrial ceiling setting the perfect stage for our epic gaming showdowns.

A Night of Epic Gaming

Mitosis Game Night kicked off with an electric atmosphere as participants dove into our carefully curated selection of main stage games. The League of Legends 1v1 matches drew particularly intense competition, with brave challengers taking on our Mitosis team members across different skill tiers.

Multiple screens throughout the venue displayed intense League of Legends action, while an impressive spread of classic American fare kept our 150+ attendees fueled for gaming. The venue's perfect blend of rock-and-roll aesthetic with Mitosis' gaming elements created an electric atmosphere that had everyone buzzing with energy all evening long!

Our Everybody 1-2-Switch! tournament brought a different kind of excitement, filling the venue with laughter and friendly competition.

The highlight of the night came when our world-class product designer Aidar, despite the emcee hyping up his skills, faced a defeat that had the whole venue (and Discord chat) erupting in good-natured laughter! Who knew our designer would engage the audience this well? 😄

Jokes aside, what made the night truly special was the incredible engagement from both our in-person and online communities. The Mitosis Discord channel was buzzing with activity, with participants eagerly placing bets and cheering for their favorites, especially during Mitosis team members' matches. Our online participants weren't just spectators – they received exclusive Discord roles and special NFT rewards for their active participation in predicting winners and creating memorable moments in the chat!
