Devcon'24 Multichain Garden of Eden
A special garden bloomed in Bangkok on 13th November as Mitosis, Initia, and Abstract came together to co-host a side event in the week of Devcon'24. Like the mythical Garden of Eden, this cute side event saw a paradise of ideas flourish through a variety of panels and new connections take root.
The event was held at Gaysorn Urban Resort, a popular, modern venue for hosting corporate events in the heart of Bangkok. Special shoutout to ContributionDAO!
Event Highlights
Did you spot Morse, Jennie & Pudgy Penguin across the hallway?
The Mitosis team gave out some free merchandise at the booth - our newly designed t-shirt received many compliments whenever the team wore it out to other side events! Rumor has it that some even requested to take a photo of it as a source of inspiration for their own t-shirts 👀
Shoutout to our designer Heizel for such cool design that caught many eyes
Speakers and Panels
Building on L1/2 vs Appchain
The event kicked off with a comprehensive panel discussion exploring the trade-offs and opportunities in L1/L2 versus an appchain. With our dear Strategist, Zach as the Moderator of this panel, Bing from megaETH, Wasin from Initia, Matt from Caldera and Jarrod from abstract shared insights on choosing the appropriate direction when building either on a Layer 1 or 2 or an Application-specific chain (Appchain), explaining in terms of various use cases.
Our CEO Jake going through the current DeFi Liquidity Provider landscape (shown in the photo above) and Mitosis’ EOL (Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity) concept (not shown in the photo, but more information found here) as easy as possible. Maybe a lil difficult for a 5y.o - read this if you struggled during the keynote!
Our CEO and co-founder, Jake, presented Mitosis' innovative approach to Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity (EOL), showcasing how their L1 blockchain is transforming the DeFi LP experience.
